Important Pre-Registration Information

All pre-registered bidders and the associated data have been removed effective August 7, 2015. If you pre-registered prior to that date you will need to pre-register again.

For sales conducted in the State of Indiana: If you are considered a Formal Association by the Indiana Secretary of State (Common examples are: Corporations, S-Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Nonprofit Corporations, Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships), you must bring with you to each sale that you intend to bid at a certificate of existence from the secretary of state to the county treasurer per IC 6-1.1-24-5.1 generated during 2017. The certificates will be kept by each county and not returned.

Your online pre-registration will be effective for any live tax sale performed by SRI this year. There is no need to register more than one time per year if you are attending a tax sale performed by SRI. To provide the easiest check in as possible please download and print the pdf available at the end of the pre-registration process.

Please pre-register AT LEAST 2 working days prior to the sale. If you wait until the night before the sale we may not have your information processed and you will have to re-submit this information at the sale.

Fill out and submit your information. It is very important that you use correct information. This information will be used to create your tax sale receipts and certificates if you are a winning bidder. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU PROVIDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO WHICH YOU HAVE ACCESS.
Make sure you note your 5 Digit Pre-Registration number. You will need this number at the Tax Sale to expedite your registration process. Download and print your confirmation form to bring with you on the day of the sale. You may print or copy this form multiple times if you are attending more than one sale this year conducted by SRI.
Print your pre-registration document from the link provided on the page in Step 3. Please bring the printed pre-registration form with you the day of the sale to receive a bidder number specific for that day's sale.

  1. Understand that I am obligated to pay, within the time set forth by the auctioneer, any bids declared final by the auctioneer.
  2. Understand that failure to pay the successful bid amount will result in a penalty of twenty-five (25%) of the bid amount and that an action may be brought by the county prosecutor to collect said penalty.
  3. Bidders failing to pay the amount bid will not be permitted to participate in the following years sale.
  4. Understand that all decisions of the auctioneer are final, and state law prohibits a person who owes delinquent taxes, special assessments, penalties, interest, or costs directly attributable to a prior tax sale from purchasing tracts or items of real property at a tax sale. I hereby affirm under the penalties for perjury that I do not owe delinquent taxes, special assessments, penalties, interest, costs directly attributable to a prior tax sale, amounts from a final adjudication in favor of a political subdivision in this county, any civil penalties imposed for the violation of a building code or ordinance of this county, or any civil penalties imposed by a health department in this county. Further, I hereby acknowledge that any successful bid I make in violation of this statement is subject to forfeiture. In the event of forfeiture, the amount of my bid shall be applied to the delinquent taxes, special assessments, penalties, interest, costs, judgments, or civil penalties I owe, and a certificate will be issued to the county executive.
